Provides comprehensive services to individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, and other pervasive developmental disorders. Individuals are assigned professional service coordinators who are responsible for clients' Individualized Support Agreements, and for assisting them in achieving success in the community. Services include personal support and case management; specialized residential programs; psychiatric and medical care; vocational and skill acquisition training; peer support; family support services; and support services to individuals in nursing homes. Provides a spectrum of supported living arrangements to meet the needs of each person. Clinical services for individuals include provision of a psychiatrist to provide evaluation, medication checks, and after-hours consultation on medication issues. Also provides care coordination services. Flexible Family Funding is a secondary service that provides state funds to support individuals with developmental disabilities and their families with support services such as respite care to enhance their ability to live together.

Provides confidential consultations by trained professional case managers who can provide assistance with planning and arranging for support services. Assessments are provided both in home or pre-dismissal from hospitals or rehabilitation centers to determine eligibility for a variety of programs including Medicaid, SSI, food stamps, fuel assistance, housing, transportation, state pharmacy assistance programs, Lifeline telephone credit, respite and in-home services. Provides assistance with filling out forms for submission. Case managers also work with the VA in assisting veterans with applying for the Veterans Independence Program.
Provides professional assistance with the assessment and development of plans for the care of individuals who, because of age, illness, disability or other difficulties, need assistance in planning and arranging for in-home care services. The Westminster community's Registered Nurse will coordinate the delivery of needed services, provide assistance/education around following medical advice and proper medication taking, assess in-home mobility safety to reduce the risk of falls, assist families with understanding the issues and needs of the family member requiring in-home care services, and provide ongoing follow-up visits to ensure the best possible health outcomes. All services provided are confidential and specific to each individual's needs.

Provides crisis and stabilization services to at risk youth and families. Assists youth with supports toward developing well-being, education, employment, permanent connections, and stable living environments as they transition to adulthood. Compass works with youth and their families to make a plan of care that will assist them in accomplishing their goals. Youth meet with a case manager approximately once a week. If a youth's family is available for services, they will have the opportunity to work with Compass' Family Preservation Specialist around normal adolescent development, verbal de-escalation techniques, mediation, and other approaches. Provides crisis management for enrolled clients and families 24 hours a day through a pager. There is a rotating staff member on call at all times.
