Provides social services to eligible individuals that include Information and Referral services for families who are separated and/or have relocated and Emergency Communication Services that, in family emergency cases such as critical accident, illness or death, will verify the situation and relay an emergency leave request to military authorities. Provides Health and Wellness Inquiries Services that allow for worldwide communications to report on the welfare of a service member. Service Members and their families can now use one toll-free number to send an urgent message to a Service Member on active duty status. And, the American Red Cross will continue to offer the assistance of its Emergency Communication Service, provided at every chapter.

Provides free and confidential emotional support, advocacy, and referrals to 2STLGBQIA+ Vermonters who have experienced violence, including domestic, sexual, or hate violence, bias, workplace or housing harassment or discrimination, trafficking, or stalking. The SafeSpace Anti-Violence Program works in trauma-sensitive ways with 2STLGBQIA+ survivors of violence & harm and 2STLGBQ+ people who cause violence and harm. 2STLGBQIA+ means Two Spirit, Trans, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Queer, Intersex, Asexual, HIV+. Two-Spirit refers to specific gender roles, not sexual orientations, of many Native American and Alaska Native peoples that don't fall into a gender binary. It is a specifically North American Indigenous identity, and not to be used by non Indigenous people. Intersex is an umbrella term for differences in sex traits or reproductive anatomy.

Provides one-on-one help and support by telephone or in person to families regarding their child's education, development, special health care needs, and transition from school to adult life. Support may include helping parents prepare for school and other meetings about their child. On a limited basis, consultants can attend Individualized Education Program (IEP), 504 and other meetings with families. Family consultants also provide information about community resources that are available to help parents and children. Also offers parent, represenative support at Act 264 or Coordinated Services Plan meetings.

Operates a formal regional Community Links program and offers mutual support statewide for mental health consumers/ex-patients/psychiatric survivors. Peer Advocates use their lived experience and training and a non-judgmental, values-driven approach that promotes multiple perspectives, advocates for human rights and dignity, and focuses on genuine, mutual relationships. Advocates help identify and access community services and support networks, and advocate on behalf of and with individuals regarding their expressed interests and preferences. The program also includes community outreach, training, public awareness, and system advocacy initiatives.
Provides wraparound services that include case management, benefits counseling, housing assistance in the form of time-limited payments to third parties for rent, utilities, moving costs, security and utility deposits, transportation, child care and emergency supplies.
