VICTIM SUPPORT SERVICES | MONTPELIER COMMUNITY JUSTICE CENTER
Provides outreach to victims of crime with community-based emotional support and resource navigation. Offers outreach to victims of low-level crimes for a restorative response. Victims in these cases are contacted and offered ways to participate in whatever way is comfortable for them. Offers options for victims to meet with those who have offended against them to ask questions and talk about the impact of the incident on themselves and others.

Montpelier Community Justice Center, a member of the Community Justice Network of Vermont, is a non-profit restorative justice organization that works with citizens, local and state government, and law enforcement agencies to provide restorative responses to crime and conflict. Programs promote restorative practices by increasing community involvement in finding solutions to crime through Reparative Boards, Circles of Support and Accountability, Community Dialogue Facilitations, Safe Driving Program, Conflict Resolution Training, and Family Group Conferencing. The Montpelier Community Justice Center provides services to the communities of Montpelier, Berlin, Calais, East Montpelier, Middlesex, Northfield, Roxbury, Waitsfield, Warren, Waterbury, and Worcester.
