Offers business development assistance services and support at no cost to borrowers and clients. Provides loans to community organizations and facilities that provide essential services and opportunities to Vermonters, including rural health centers, youth/family organizations, recreational centers, elder care facilities, arts organizations, preservation organizations, historical societies & other cultural organizations. Offer business advisory services and support at no cost to borrowers and clients.

Provides technical assistance and support, as well as grant funding to help single-family homeowners create a rental apartment within their home, over a garage, or in other out-buildings. Upon completion of the apartment BAAH remains available for guidance and support. Program is limited to homes in which the owner lives, there is not an existing apartment on property, and where the owner plans to stay for at least five years. Grant amount is based on 50% reimbursement of actual costs up to $10,000. BAAH does NOT have apartments for rent and will not find apartments for individuals.
