BUDGET COUNSELING | BROC COMMUNITY ACTION
Assists individuals seeking to improve their money management skills in monthly bill paying, debt reduction, savings and credit reports and credit repair. Works with the individual to develop a monthly household budget to address their income, expenses and debt as well as referrals to eligible programs to create a sustainable budget for basic living expenses. Also offers workshops that address money management including banking services, preparing for a personal/car loan or home mortgage, reviewing, repairing and rebuilding credit reports and paying down debt. Vermont Matched Savings Program accounts do not count as assets when applying for Reach Up and 3SquaresVT.
