LGBTQ2+ VETERAN CARE | WHITE RIVER JUNCTION VA HEALTHCARE SYSTEM

Provides care to LGBTQ2+ Veterans. Services include mental health care, hormone therapy, HIV prevention, testing, and other STI treatments and screenings. Also provides gender affirming prosthetics, transgender and other LGBTQ2+ support groups. Applicants can receive guidance with DD-214 and discharge status upgrade through the VA. Gender affirming prosthetics are provided to LGBTQ2+ Veterans for free.

WHITE RIVER JUNCTION VA HEALTHCARE SYSTEM

The White River Junction VA Healthcare System serves eligible veterans throughout Vermont - and in four neighboring counties in New Hampshire - with health care, benefits, research, support, and educational services. The White River Junction VA Healthcare System provides inpatient and outpatient health care, including primary care, medical, surgical, mental health, substance abuse treatment, and contracted in-home and long term care. Outreach to Vermont veterans, including benefits assistance, mental health treatment, and reintegration counseling is provided at Outreach Clinics and community-based facilities such as the Vet Center. White River Junction VA Healthcare System is also the home to the National Center for PTSD and a Polytrauma Support Center.
