COMMUNITY IMPACT | UNITED WAY OF WINDHAM COUNTY

Develops partnerships, coordinates volunteers, and supports program initiatives that address specific issues in the areas of education, income and health. This includes programs that strengthen financial stability, financial literacy, individual nutritional and physical well being, early learning, addiction prevention. Additionally, support is provided for programs addressing basic needs such as housing, food, and accessibility in service communities. The United Way of Windham County initiates fund raising designed to help the communities it serves in a critical time of need. All funds are used to support organizations and people in UWWC service area.

United Way of Windham County(UWWC) is a non-profit community development organization for Windham County, Vermont. UWWC is committed to strengthening communities by supporting and initiating programs in the areas of education, income and health, and does so by conducting an annual fund raising campaign, managing a fund distribution process using community volunteers, and working collaboratively with the community to mobilize resources for special projects and initiatives to meet community needs.
