DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES | LAMOILLE COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES

Provides comprehensive services to individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, and other pervasive developmental disorders. Individuals are assigned professional service coordinators who are responsible for consumer's Individualized Support Agreements, and for assisting them in achieving success in the community. Services include personal support and case management, specialized residential programs; psychiatric and medical care, vocational and skill acquisition training, family support services, and support services to individuals in nursing homes. Provides a spectrum of supported living arrangements to meet the needs of each person. Clinical services for individuals include provision of a psychiatrist to provide evaluation, medication checks, and after-hours consultation on medication issues. Also provides care coordination services.

Lamoille County Mental Health (LCMHS) is the designated community mental health agency for Lamoille County under contract with Vermont Department Mental Health to provide acute and long-term behavioral health care services to people with a wide range of emotional, behavioral and other mental health problems, and/or developmental challenges. LCMHS provides emergency and crisis intervention services for adults, children, adolescents and their families.
