COMMUNITY SUPPORT AND DIRECT SERVICE PROGRAMS | SOMALI BANTU COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION OF VERMONT
Provides administrative services, translation and interpretive services, referrals, transportation services, and a free computer lab for community use. In addition, this program currently supports the Direct Services Program in which community members work with volunteers to fill out human services paperwork, study for the GED, TOEFL, and Citizenship exams, fill out college applications, and work on summer-school homework. Free citizenship test study materials are provided to the students. They also invite USCIS officials to their classes for a Naturalization & Citizenship Information Session about the naturalization process, the naturalization test and right and responsibilities of U.S. Citizenship.

Somali Bantu Community Association of Vermont is a non-profit organization that focuses on helping the growing immigrant community in Chittenden County to acclimate to their new environment through programs designed to empower and expedite self-sufficiency in their daily lives. Programs are open to refugees, immigrants, and asylees from any country.
