NURTURING PARENTING PROGRAMS | PREVENT CHILD ABUSE VERMONT

Offers curriculum-based programs that work with the entire family throughout childhood and into teen years. Teaches parents how to understand their children's developmental needs and behaviors, positively communicate with their children, preventing child sexual abuse, and managing their stress. Workshops are age appropriate. Groups are conducted online.

PREVENT CHILD ABUSE VERMONT

Prevent Child Abuse Vermont, a statewide non-profit child abuse prevention organization, provides child abuse prevention information; offers educational courses and support groups for parents; child abuse prevention workshops for professionals; and Shaken Baby Syndrome Prevention training. Prevent Child Abuse Vermont publishes The Vermont Parents' Home Companion and Resource Directory, a guide to child development and a directory of child and family services organizations in Vermont.
