CRISIS FUEL AND HOME HEATING FUEL ASSISTANCE | BROC COMMUNITY ACTION
Works with households to resolve emergencies involving home heat and electrical disconnection notices using programs and funds available and helping with applications. Electric heat assistance is limited to households with primary heat source of electricity or electricity that is essential to keeping other types of heating systems operational. All payments are sent directly to the fuel supplier. Households may be eligible to receive assistance from more than one program. After Hours Crisis Fuel is only offered on weekends or state holidays during fuel season.

Eligibility
Crisis Fuel: Income Guidelines Apply; Household has a quarter of a tank of fuel or less, and/or a utility disconnect notice; "After Hours Crisis Fuel Assistance" for Weekends/Holidays Crisis Fuel: Same requirements as above, plus at least one member of household is a "vulnerable population" member (age 60 or older, under age 6, or is a recipient of federal disability benefit)
