REPARATIVE PROBATION PROJECT | SOMALI BANTU COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION OF VERMONT

Works with low-level offenders and their families by providing legal referrals and counseling support. The project is supported by two committees: the Emergency and Relief Committee and the Problem Solving Committee, which are devoted to repairing and addressing the damage caused by crime and conflict within the Somali Bantu Communities and within the family.

Somali Bantu Community Association of Vermont is a non-profit organization that focuses on helping the growing immigrant community in Chittenden County to acclimate to their new environment through programs designed to empower and expedite self-sufficiency in their daily lives. Programs are open to refugees, immigrants, and asylees from any country.
