Provides confidential, client-directed assistance in gaining access to government and community programs, including housing, transportation, Meals on Wheels, congregate meals, 3SquaresVT (food stamps), Medicaid, health-care insurance, rebates, adult day services, hoarding issues, and mental health services. Maintains a regional listing of in-home assistance providers available to assist seniors with continuing to live independently at home.

Central Vermont Council on Aging is a non-profit senior services organization that plans, develops and coordinates comprehensive services for older adults in support of their independence, self choice, and well being in Washington, Lamoille, and Orange Counties. Services include, but are not limited to, information and referral assistance, case/care management, nutrition services, healthy living programs, health insurance counseling, hoarding issues, and support for caregivers. CVCOA also serves as the umbrella agency for RSVP of Central Vermont and the Northeast Kingdom.
