CONFLICT ASSISTANCE SERVICES | BURLINGTON COMMUNITY JUSTICE CENTER
Provides mediation services through which disputes are resolved with the help of a mediator in an effort to avoid resorting to court intervention. Situations that may benefit from mediation are disputes with neighbors, such as noise disputes, vandalism, animal complaints, and parking issues; landlord tenant disputes; school discipline and truancy matters; and problems related to business or workplace conflicts.

Burlington Community Justice Center, a member of the Community Justice Network of Vermont, is a non-profit restorative justice organization that works with citizens, local and state government, and law enforcement agencies to provide restorative responses to crime and conflict for the city of Burlington. Programs promote restorative practices by increasing community involvement in finding solutions to crime through Reparative Panels, Court Diversion, Conflict Assistance, Community Dialogue, Education and Crime Prevention, as well as Victim Support Services.
