Provides a variety of crisis intervention services including emergency support and assistance. Services include problem-solving support, assistance with accessing resources, employment goal setting, prejob guidance, budget counseling, tenant-landlord mediation, housing assistance, homelessness prevention, emergency food services, and emergency assistance with other basic needs such as utility payment assistance. Also provides assistance with filling out benefit program applications and other forms. Offers seasonal Farm to Family food coupons, which can be used at farmers markets and farm stands. Farm to Family Coupon Application and Distribution (First come, first served) starts the first week of July

SEVCA (Southeastern Vermont Community Action) is a regional community action agency that provides a variety of core services in the two-county communities it serves, including emergency support and assistance for low-income families and individuals in crisis. Other services include case management services, emergency fuel assistance, homeless prevention assistance, weatherization, emergency home repair, small business development, budget counseling, income tax preparation, and Windsor County Head Start programs.
