Facilitates ten regional Hunger Councils that are led by community leaders and engage community members, leaders, and service providers to learn about an to end hunger in their communities. The Upper Valley-area Hunger Council includes participants from Vermont as well as New Hampshire.

Hunger Free Vermont (HFVT) is a statewide nonprofit organization that works with state agencies and community groups to develop sustainable hunger solutions. HFVT supports access to federal nutrition programs, including 3SquaresVT, summer meal programs, and school meals. HFVT also facilitates ten community-led Hunger Councils across the state.
