MEDICARE COST SAVINGS PROGRAMS | DEPARTMENT OF VERMONT HEALTH ACCESS
Offers four different programs that help pay for Medicare costs, including deductibles, co-pays, and Medicare Part B premiums. Some of the programs include extra help with prescription drug costs. The 4 programs are: QMB (Qualified Medicare Beneficiary Program) - Helps pay for Part A premiums, Part B premiums, and deductibles, coinsurance, and copayments for services and items Medicare covers SLMB (Specified Low Income Beneficiary) - Helps pay for Part B premiums only QI (Qualifying Individual) - Helps pay for Part B premiums only QDWI (Qualified Working and Disabled Individuals) - Helps pay for Part A premiums only
