Offers a home visit to provide information on emergency preparedness including development of a family disaster plan, and suggesting changes in the home to increase fire resistance. May provide and install smoke alarms at no cost to eligible individuals. Renters may be referred to their local fire marshals due to additional restrictions on battery vs. hard wired alarms.
