PUPPETS IN EDUCATION | VERMONT FAMILY NETWORK
Provides workshops led by puppets and puppeteers that teach children how to keep themselves safe and healthy and to appreciate each other’s differences. Skits and workshops focus on effective leadership, problem-solving skills and demonstrate respect, compassion and inclusion in a diverse community.

Skits are performed for children in grades K-8. Puppet/workshop presentations for professional groups or middle, high school, and university students can also be scheduled.

Vermont Family Network (VFN) is a non-profit youth and family services organization that supports Vermont families of children with disabilities and special health needs. VFN provides advocacy, information, support services, and parent trainings within a framework of family-centered policies and practices. Programs include a helpline for families and professionals, family support groups, parent matches, Sibshops, educational workshops, a traveling Puppets in Education production for schools, and numerous fact sheets and guides on a variety of disability-related topics.
