CIRCLES OF SUPPORT AND ACCOUNTABILITY | ORLEANS COUNTY RESTORATIVE JUSTICE CENTER
Supports the successful re-entry into the community of people released from incarceration through Circles of Support and Accountability (COSAs). COSAs are made up of citizen volunteers who work with participants to help them learn to manage the challenges of everyday life, be accountable for their actions and become responsible community members. Volunteer coordinators may help establish links to employment, housing, transportation, and benefit programs. CoSA volunteers provide emotional and practical support for the participant to help him or her become a productive, self-supporting citizen, manage the everyday challenges, and be accountable for safe and responsible living.
