Provides conflict resolution assistance that helps neighbors find a way to untangle problems and find effective, lasting solutions. Experienced mediators listen to individual story/concern and assist with thinking through options, act as go-between's, provide a comfortable way for people to come together, keep conversation productive, and provide follow-up to see if members are following through with arrived-upon solution.

Montpelier Community Justice Center, a member of the Community Justice Network of Vermont, is a non-profit restorative justice organization that works with citizens, local and state government, and law enforcement agencies to provide restorative responses to crime and conflict. Programs promote restorative practices by increasing community involvement in finding solutions to crime through Reparative Boards, Circles of Support and Accountability, Community Dialogue Facilitations, Safe Driving Program, Conflict Resolution Training, and Family Group Conferencing. The Montpelier Community Justice Center provides services to the communities of Montpelier, Berlin, Calais, East Montpelier, Middlesex, Northfield, Roxbury, Waitsfield, Warren, Waterbury, and Worcester.
