COMMUNITY IMPACT | GREEN MOUNTAIN UNITED WAY
Develops partnerships, coordinates volunteers, and supports program initiatives that address specific issues in the areas of education, income and health. This includes programs that strengthen financial stability, financial literacy, individual nutritional and physical well being, early learning, and addiction prevention. Additionally, support is provided for programs addressing basic needs such as housing, food, and accessibility in service communities. Green Mountain United Way initiates fund raising designed to help the communities it serves in a critical time of need. All funds are used to support organizations and people in GMUW service area. Vermont Flood Disaster Relief Fund is an emergency fund to support Central and northeastern Vermont residents severely impacted by the flooding in July 2024.
