Provides centralized coordination of substance use treatment and recovery services via a statewide, confidential resource information and referral line, an online self-screening tool, and online resource directory for finding substance use treatment facilities and recovery support services. Trained specialists help callers understand the treatment system and their options. Referrals are made to appropriate available resources.

The Vermont Division of Substance Use Programs (DSU) oversees a statewide network of health promotion, prevention, intervention, treatment and recovery services to prevent, reduce and eliminate the health impacts of alcohol, cannabis, opioid and other drug use. DSU works with national, state, and community based organizations to make programs and services available to Vermonters, uses data to plan and guide program improvements, and supports Vermont's statewide system of providers.
