Other DARTS in Vermont include Rutland Area Disaster Animal Response Team (RADART), and Guardian Angels DART (GADART), which are not formally affiliated with VDART. Pet owners are encouraged to communicate with their local emergency manager via the Town Clerk for guidance on local response plans.

VERMONT DISASTER ANIMAL RESPONSE TEAM
Vermont Disaster Animal Response Team (VDART) is a non-profit volunteer organization that provides resources and advice to pet owners, animal-related businesses and non-profits, local communities, and state agencies to strengthen and support Vermont's capacity to respond to animal needs in the event of a disaster. VDART provides support and training for the development of regional DART teams throughout the state, and provides local emergency managers with guidance on including the community's pet population in local response plans.
