LANDLORD RELIEF PROGRAM | VERMONT STATE HOUSING AUTHORITY

Offers financial assistance up to $5000 for the following: prorated costs to hold a unit for a future tenant, limited to two months' rent; prorated cost for loss of rent from a vacancy due to needed repairs, limited to one month of rent; qualifying damages caused by a tenant; rent associated with early termination by the tenant, limited to one month of rent. See website for list of program requirements and examples of claims. Landlords need to fill in the application section, then complete "file a claim" and sign the certifications.
