DEMENTIA RESPITE AND FAMILY SUPPORT PROGRAM | SOUTHWESTERN VERMONT COUNCIL ON AGING
Assists caregivers in accessing supportive services and programs for which they may be eligible. Caregivers may apply for small grants from the Dementia Respite Program enabling them to have a period of respite from their caregiving responsibilities. Support services may also include coordination of support groups, caregiver trainings, and self-care informational bulletins and newsletters.

Southwestern Vermont Council on Aging (SVCOA) is a non-profit senior services organization that plans, develops and coordinates comprehensive services for older adults in support of their independence, self choice, and well being in Bennington and Rutland Counties. Services include, but are not limited to, information and referral assistance, case/care management, nutrition services, healthy living programs, health insurance counseling, hoarding issues, and support for caregivers. SVCOA also serves as the umbrella agency for Green Mountain RSVP with offices in Bennington, Springfield, and Brattleboro.
