COMMUNITY IMPACT | UNITED WAY OF LAMOILLE COUNTY

Develops partnerships, coordinates volunteers, and supports program initiatives that address specific issues in the areas of education, income and health. This includes programs that strengthen financial stability, financial literacy, individual nutritional and physical well being, early learning, addiction prevention. Additionally, support is provided for programs addressing basic needs such as housing, food, and accessibility in service communities. United Way of Lamoille County initiates fund raising designed to help the communities it serves in a critical time of need. All funds are used to support organizations and people in the United Way of Lamoille County service area.

United Way of Lamoille County (UWLC) is a non-profit community development organization for Lamoille County, Vermont. UWLC works to advocate for the health, education. and financial stability of Lamoille County individuals and families. UWLC manages its own programs, including the annual Lamoille County Firewood Project, New Foundations transitional housing and Rural Resource Navigator.
